The phrase “selfie” has recently generated enough interest to become part of the oxford dictionary.
According to the Oxford Dictionary, as of 2013, the word “selfie” is a noun meaning:
A self-shot photo, usually taken with a mobile phone and posted online to social media sites.
According to Samsung, 30 % of pictures taken by people who are 18-24 are selfies
And, according to Samsung, this figure is only increasing! It is seemingly obvious that people who are in their late teens and twenties are the ones taking the most selfies.
